About PADUG

PADUG is the Pennsylvania Area Datatel Users' Group. You don't need to be within Pennsylvania borders to join us. We welcome all of our neighbors to join us in this collaborative effort.

PADUG was conceived and formed during the 2006 DUG conference. The idea was to bring together Datatel schools from PA and the surrounding areas for the purpose of networking and knowledge sharing using Datatel software products.  Since the Banner/Datatel merger in 2011, PADUG continues to be geared towards schools that use products within the Ellucian Colleague ecosystem.

Our inaugural conference was hosted in the fall of 2007 at member school Juniata College, in Huntingdon. Following that successful one day conference, the format was expanded to a day and a half, with Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove taking on hosting responsibilities for 2008. The following two years built on the homegrown hosting success by moving the conference to the Sheraton Harrisburg/Hershey. In 2011, returned to Susquehanna for a year, but now we have been back at the Sheraton in successive years.

The planning team is made up of hard working folks who give up their time to volunteer and make the conference the success that it is. Joining the planning efforts is completely voluntary and a superb way to network and build relationships with your peers that can serve you and your institution in a myriad of ways.

Over 30 institutions have attended PADUG in the last three years. Our records are incomplete, so if we've missed your institution or if you would like to be included in mailings, please use the survey form to request more information.

Below are the member schools of PADUG in blue. The schools with a dot on their flag are not only members, but have hosted or sponsored conferences. Our current conference location, the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey appears as a red pushpin.
